ABOUT D&T REFRIGERATION
D&T Refrigeration and Air Conditioning are a leading provider within the commercial retail HVAC-R industry. Established in 2006, D&T have been providing tailored preventative and reactive maintenance services for some of Australia’s leading fuel retailers, supermarkets chains and high-end CAPEX clients throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our vision is to become the HVAC/R supplier of choice within the commercial retail sector in which DT operates.
At D&T we know and understand how critical it is to be able to have continuity of service allowing for maximum trading capability. We see ourselves an integral aspect of our clients business and in assisting them achieve their business goals and objectives. Our internal processes are managed via the “SimPro” platform, a recognised industry specific management tool. This platform offers full automation on all service activities meaning that all logged activities are received and despatched to our field team within a matter of seconds. “SimPro” also provides our clientele a level of comfort being fully transparent on time spent on site and itemises materials used which is then verified prior to being invoiced.
D&T only employ highly skilled, trained professionals which promotes a high performing culture and healthy competition amongst the wider team. This allows D&T to be the apex service provider who promotes a service delivery structure of first-time fix. MEET THE TEAM
Sean
Sean started his journey in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning in his homeland of Derry, Ireland completing his apprenticeship with a well known industry leading commercial company. Once concluding his apprenticeship Sean further crafted his skills in the commercial refrigeration sector, specialising within all aspects of the supermarket, controls and energy management fields.
Sean travelled to Darwin in 2012 and was immediately captivated with the Australian way of life. Two years later, he relocated to Melbourne and quickly became an esteemed member of the D&T family. Sean excelled at his craft as an installation and service technician within the commercial sector. No task was too small/ large and no problem went without a permanent solution. It was due to his excellent work ethic and technical ability that Sean quickly progressed into his first management position as the service manager.
As the company expanded it was no surprise that Sean was identified as an inherent asset that had resulted in D&T’s success. Recently, Sean’s leadership skills, has warranted him the deserving role of partial Directorship of D&T Pty Ltd, embracing the challenge to continue to guide the extended team to excellence.
Sean is respected for his strong technical prowess, flexibility and adaptability and proficiency to connect with people on an inter-personal level.

Scott
Scott Walker is an industry authority within the HVAC industry, he is well known and highly regarded by his peers and clients. Having spent over three decades within the HVAC industry, Scott started work at a very young age helping out at a family air conditioning business after school and on weekends. Air Conditioning was in his blood and ran through his veins in those early years which enabled a passion to slowly stir within. Scott completed his apprenticeship in the late 80’s and continued to work at the same family business until its closure due to COVID.
It is very rare that someone like Scott, with the wealth of knowledge he has obtained over the preceding decades wouldn’t find a new home quickly and D&T were successful in securing a position for him within the company. Upon coming onboard as HVAC project manager there was none better suited to such a challenging role which involves the conception, quotation, planning, managing and delivering projects on time and within budget. This is something Scott achieves time and time again.
Scott is frequently consulted on matters within the business where difficult situations arise in field and an easy solution is not apparent. His problem solving skills are second to none which becomes apparent when he presents solutions that others would find unthinkable.
Scott is such a valuable piece of the DT puzzle that has helped elevate and establish the D&T name within the refrigeration and air conditioning playing field.
